History

PhDays took place for the first time in 1998 and have become a successful annual event within the Dutch-Flemish Scientific Computing world. According to tradition, every year during spring a weekend is organized alternately in Belgium and the Netherlands. During this weekend various activities are undertaken such that PhD students in the field of Scientific Computing at Dutch and Flemish universities can get acquainted in an informal setting. This weekend is also the ideal occasion for networking with like-minded researchers from neighboring universities.
